The development of high-performance DNA sequencing technologies has led to the emergence of a new class of bulk genomic data and algorithms for their processing and analysis. Supercomputer computing is a necessary tool for working with genetic data. The problems of genomics and transcriptomics, analysis of gene expression in the context of computational complexity are presented. An overview of computer approaches and programs developed by the authors for solving problems arising in the annotation of genomic data and analysis of gene expression is given.
