Essential terms of the bank deposit agreement and the bank account agreement

The article discusses the essential terms of bank deposit and bank account agreements, their significance. The authors come to the conclusion that the essential terms of the bank deposit agreement are: the subject of the bank deposit agreement and the conditions named as such in the Law (part 2 clause 1 article 842 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation), as well as called the necessary conditions for this agreement (clause 2 article 844.1 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation). An essential For certain types of bank account agreements, the legislator establishes additional essential conditions. There are also conditions that become essential at the request of one or both parties to the contract. Particular attention in the article is paid to the subjects of these contracts. The changes in the current legislation in this area are analyzed, including those introduced by the Federal Law of the Russian Federation “On Amendments to the Federal Law “On Banks and Banking Activities” dated July 02, 2021 No. 324-FZ.
