Essence and content of notion “development efficiency of small business”

The article analyses the evolution of views regarding “entrepreneurship” and “small entrepreneurship”, presents economic functions and their transformation during digitalization of economic performance. There is a display of the essence of entrepreneurial activity by the small businesses in a context of transforming economics. Special attention in the article was paid to the questions of the artificial intelligence development and all the necessary measures that the humanity needs to undertake in the nearest future in order to implement the technology as widely as possible and in the most effective way.
