Elementary simple sentences, binary constructions both parts of which possess their own predicative units, are considered units of the syntactic system of a language. They may be divided into 4 types depending on the relations between part A and part B. In type 1, the subordinate clause is a composite nomination which takes a position in the positional scheme of the superordinate clause. Type 2 expresses the relations between two events or situations in objective relative: each clause possesses its own proposition which may be described apart from its connection with the proposition from another clause. Type 3 expresses logical operation performed by the speaker. Type 4 reveals individual author-created associative connections which neither reflect the real relations between events nor logical thinking operations. They may be found in some context, but right now they cannot be classified or named as relations.
