Essence, contents and role of digital transformation in development of economic systems

The digital economy is an economy component where knowledge of subjects and non-material production – a key indicator dominates when determining information society. The concepts “digital economy”, “economy of knowledge”, “information society” form the new economic system replacing an industrial paradigm. The developed countries pay close attention to harmonious development of backbone elements of digital economy, information society and economy of knowledge. For Russia during the available difficult period it is extremely important to transform as soon as possible traditional economy to modern – information, intellectual, digital. It is an uncontested way of development. Otherwise further social, economic crises and, as a result, a political disbalance are inevitable that, in turn, can work as positive feedback and even more deeply to immerse the country in an abyss. In modern conditions of the market need of the system transformations and actions aimed at the development of digital economy in the domestic system of economy is obvious.
