Essence, structure and factors of development of the industrial and production potential of the enterprise

The article is devoted to revealing the key theoretical aspects of the industrial and production potential. The conceptual apparatus of this category has been studied. The author's interpretation of the term industrial and production potential of an enterprise is formulated. Based on the analysis of approaches to structuring the industrial and production potential, a generalized structural model is presented. This model assumes a decomposition consisting of the main, circulating, labor, technological and information potentials. Each structural element is considered from the point of view of the essence, resource content and role in the economic activity of the enterprise. The factors of development of industrial and production potential and its components are investigated. The key aspects of the concept of lean production are presented. The influence of the introduction of lean production on the development of industrial and production potential is considered.
