Daily dynamics of pine turpentine release intensity on drained peat soils

In the Sokolsky district of the Vologda Region, on the drained peat soils of the mesotrophic type, the rate of release of pine terpentine during the application of micro-wounds during the day (at regular intervals) was studied. Particular attention is paid to the relationship of terpentine flows with indicators of the temperature regime of soils and the temperature of the surface air layer in the area of wounding. It was established when the greatest mass of terpentine is released depending on the time of wounding.
