Sovereignty and national security: challenges and priorities for the Russian Federation

The article gives a General assessment of the global challenges, among which the author of wedell the struggle for vital resources, conflicts of civilisation charterer, intense, tense nature of relations between the West and the East remains Unchanged, the trend of narrowing of state sovereignty of those countries that do not aspire to the allocation of resources. Russian Federation, positioning itself as a regional, and eventually global leader, prefers, in contrast to these countries to respond to contemporary challenges, in the form of strategic documents and in practice, protecting their own national interests. For contemporary strategy that defines the foreign policy of the Russian Federation bicontinental characteristic, the desire to balance relations with the East at the expense of relations with the West. In the article the author compared two of the national security strategy of the Russian Federation 2009 and 2015 and found the relationship between these, and drugihh threats global threats to national security.
