Kuibyshev eparchial candle workshop and state financial pressing in the end of the fifties (the 20 th century)

The article is devotes to the history of the Kuibyshev Eparchial candle workshop from its foundation by Kuibyshev Episcopate in 1954 up to the beginning of 1960s. Taking this case as an the example, the author analyzes the main trends of Soviet state anti-church policy at the middle of the 20th century and comes to the conclusion that the state arrangements were aimed to winding down the Russian Orthodox Church financial and economical programs.
