The converter of electromagnetic radiation in the DC-based ultrawideband gradient semiconducting absorber of electromagnetic radiation coming from the vacuum is proposed. Because the environment is inhomogeneous in conductivity and electric field component is not attenuated with depth in different points of the homogeneous heat environment different amounts of heat will be allocated (it is believed that the heat capacity is constant throughout the thickness). This effect will lead to a temperature gradient, resulting, as it is known, in a constant electric current, which can be used for practical purposes.
