Secular and church policy: possible intersection points

The fact that secular and ecclesiastical policies may overlap in secular society, and cooperation between the state and the church can be carried out, including in the sociopolitical sphere, does not seem strange at the present time. It is obvious that there are areas of social and political life where the interests of the state and the Church objectively coincide, and if the cooperation of secular and ecclesiastical authorities can result in a real solution of these or other significant problems, not one responsible politician, both secular and ecclesiastical, should not neglect such cooperation. Recently, we witnessed how the Russian authorities successfully acted as a mediator in restoring the unity of the Russian Orthodox Church, which undoubtedly was one of the most significant events in the social and political life of the past year.
