«Secular» in contemporary Russian society

The processes of religion transformation are traced in the modern conditions of dynamically changing religious sphere, in particular, the attitude to a problem of «secular» changes. Nowadays the majority of the researches in society is devoted to a legal and constitutional status of «secular» and «secularism». The aim of the article is to make the social and philosophical analysis of the essence «secular» in the Russian society, and respectively, the research of problems which arise in this sphere. This subject is very actual for the Russian Federation that is caused by difficult relations in the interfaith sphere, the state and religions relations and ambiguous policy of the Russian state The author designates the urgency of this theme for the Russian Federation, conditioned by complicated relations in the inter confessional sphere, between state and religion, and a controversial policy of the Russian state. The opinions of the Russian and foreign researchers on the essence of secular are presented, the analysis of secularism and contrary to it the process of desecularism is made. The article draws to a conclusion that modern Russian society is characterized by a tendency to the desecularism and secularing of religion.
