Freedom of religion and religious extremism

On the base of norms of actual legislation the author researches the following notions: “religious extremism”, “extremist materials” and some issues of using the term “religious extremism” in legal science and practice. Special attention is paid to the analysis of law enforcement and judicial practice in the sphere of counteraction of religious extremism. According to the results of the analysis conclusions and proposals to amend existing legislation have been formulated.
