Pecularity of the ethnocultural interaction of the Khakass and the Russian migrants

The study of the ethnocultural interaction in the Siberian region is presented in the article. Owing to its geographical position and specific historical development this region is a peculiar communication channel between Western and Eastern cultures. The analysis of values and national mentality of the Khakass and Russian ethnocities makes it possible to assume that the common Eurasian characteristics of both cultures facilitated the rapid ethnocultural adjustment and as awhole favourably influenced on the processes of intercultural interaction in both material and spiritual sphere.
