Properties of the spectral function obtained on the base of vibrational relaxation polarization model

In this paper the analysis of the shape of the frequency spectra obtained by Fourier transformation of the digital relaxation function based on the vibrational relaxation polarization model is carried out. The dependence of the spectra on the parameters of the relaxation functions a and n is found. It is shown that the spectral function can be represented as the sum of linear and nonlinear spectral functions with different time constants. An analytic dependences of the time constants on the a parameter are found, also the distance between the peaks of linear and nonlinear functions is determined.
