The sons of the Kainsk` earth on the fronts of the First World War

The funds of the “Museum Complex” of the city of Kuibyshev, Novosibirsk Region, contain photos and biographical information of the participants of the First World War who went to the front from the city of Kainsk and the Kainsky district (now the city of Kuibyshev). The materials collected by the director of the house-museum of V.V. Kuybyshev (1953-1981) A.V. Oblasova and the participant of the civil war in Siberia, the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, personnel military M.I. Stupakov were laid in The basis of this article. M. I. Stupakov in his book “For the Right Cause” (Novosibirsk: West Siberian Book Publishing House, 1977) tells about the former front-line soldiers of the First World War as participants of the civil war in the territory of the northern volosts of the Kainsky district of Tomsk province (now Kuybyshevsky, Vengerovsky, Kyshtovsky districts of the Novosibirsk region) and partly of the Tarsky and Tatar districts of the Tobolsk province (now the Omsk region). The article lists the names of the participants of the First World War with brief biographical data.
