Historic and archival study of Tabynsk settlement

The article is devoted to the historic and archival study of one of the settlements of XVII-XVIII centuries on the territory of Bashkortostan which has been scarcely studied. The authors review the history of construction and development of the south-eastern frontiers of Russia (Central Bashkiria). The main topic of the article is the preliminary results of the archaeological excavations of Tabynsk settlement by the expedition of Bashkir State Pedagogical University in 2014.
