Taxonomy of socio-rational illusions: mental traps, ratiomorphism, crab mentality

Modernization of various social spheres as a process of innovation management, reconstructing the society in order to accelerate its development, is blocked by the invisible barrier that often looks like a simple set of rules of “reasonable” behavior in the society. The paper considers the taxonomy of the mechanisms of pseudo-rationality of individual and collective social actors. It is shown how seemingly rational behavior of these actors can lead to irrational consequences for the society in general.
