The article is devoted to the role of tactical medicine in the professional training of police officers, with an emphasis on algorithms for providing assistance in extreme situations such as anti-terrorist operations and mass incidents. An in-depth analysis of key issues, including stress tolerance, lack of standardized equipment, ethical dilemmas of triage of the wounded, and lack of practical training, illustrated by historical experience and real-world examples, has been conducted. Effective solutions have been considered, from the introduction of simulators and interagency exercises to the standardization of protocols like MARCH and TCCC adapted for law enforcement. Special attention is paid to innovations: autoinjectors, tow drones, VR platforms with AI and biosensors. Based on the analysis, ways to improve the area, including digitalization and psychorehabilitation, are proposed to minimize preventable deaths and increase the combat capability of the police in modern realities.
