Interrogation as a means of obtaining evidentiary information should be recognized as the most common in criminal proceedings; it is impossible to replace it with another investigative action. Such “popularity” of interrogation is determined, on the one hand, by its highest informational capabilities, and, on the other hand, by the simplicity of conducting, reliability and speed of obtaining the result in the form of evidence. Despite its simplicity, the effectiveness of its implementation largely depends on the tactics and recommendations used by the investigator. The criminal procedural law, designed to regulate the rules for its implementation, makes it possible to realize the procedural independence of the investigator enshrined in the law in choosing the tactics of conducting an investigative action. Such independence determined the need for theoretical developments in this area. The article discusses the procedure for organizing and conducting the interrogation of suspected (accused) women. The authors define the criteria for a conflict situation of interrogation. Tactical techniques are considered in relation to the criminalistic typology of suspected (accused) women.
