Customs institutions of intellectual property rights in foreign trade

The use of customs registers of intellectual property objects significantly contributes to the protection of rights to intellectual property, simplifies the work of customs authorities, stimulates innovation and increases awareness of the importance of protecting intellectual property. All these factors, taken together, contribute to the creation of a healthier and more competitive economic environment conducive to business development and the protection of the rights of intellectual property owners. The article presents an analysis of the maintenance of such a register, and also highlights the existing problems that customs authorities face when monitoring intellectual property objects.
