Customs institutions for the protection of intellectual property rights (IP) play a key role in ensuring the legality of international trade and protecting the interests of copyright holders. Intellectual property includes patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs. Foreign trade, in turn, faces a number of challenges related to IP violations, such as counterfeiting and piracy. The article presents the main customs institutions for the protection of intellectual property and an analysis of their activities over the past three years.
