Dance and thinking in the German philosophy of art of the late XX - early XXI century

The article deals with the problem of comprehension of the philosophy of contemporary dance. The key point is appealing to the modern German aesthetics that by overcoming the Cartesian dualism of mind and body and by application of "thinking" and "transversal mind" concepts comes to the idea, that the dance is a special kind of nonverbal thinking with plastic, continuous- processual images, which rhythmically develop in space and time.
