Theater program as the document type

The paper presents a study theatre from the point of view of science of documents. The theatre program is considered in accordance with the General provisions of science of documents, as the document existing in the field of theatrical art. On the one hand, the theatre program plays the role of intermediary between the creators of the theatrical action and the audience. On the other hand, is a witness to the history of the theater, which gives an opportunity to trace the development of theatrical art. Presents all components of the document, the relationship of the components, the evolution of the theatre program. The study shows the value of a theatre program in history of theatre art.
