Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the technology of cultivation of a cucumber culture in a sheltered soil under the conditions of a household farm. The design of the stove operating on waste oil for heating the greenhouse and the system of drip irrigation, which allows to increase the yield of cucumber fruits, improve the phytosanitary situation in the greenhouse, and reduce the proportion of manual labor. The use of a stove operating on waste oil as a fuel for heating the greenhouse has made it possible to significantly shorten the time of growing the cucumber culture in comparison with greenhouses without heating and at the same time save by not having to purchase other fuels or electricity to heat the greenhouse. The temperature regimes maintained in the greenhouse before and during the fruiting period are presented. The offered technology of cultivation has perfectly shown for a six-year period of testing and can be recommended for greenhouses used on subsidiary plots.
