Technological platforms as a tool promoting innovative development of Russian economy

A huge gap in the innovation activities intensity in the real economy sector between Russia and European countries indicates a serious issue that will determine substantially the future socioeconomic development of the country. Formation of the technological platforms in our country contributes to the restoration of cooperation in the chain “state-science-business", improves efficiency of industrial development in the country, provides employment opportunities, and drives the innovative mechanism of accelerated economic development. It determines the relevance of the subject matter. The article considers definition of the “technological platform" term and process of its development. The author discusses efficiency of the technological platforms’ activities determined by the objectives of their implementation.
