Technological schemes for mixing the melt with a pulsed magnetic field and their analysis

The article gives the physical basis and factors of magnetic pulse effects on the melt. The main attention is paid to the possible mixing schemes: external (axial, radial, hybrid), internal, jet and others, providing the necessary heat and mass transfer. The special features are considered and an analysis of the effectiveness of each scheme is given in terms of energy consumption and ensuring the required quality of mixing. In conclusion, a classifier of methods for magnetic pulse mixing of the melt is presented, giving the direction for their further development and experimental research.
