The article analyzes the raw material base of the forest complex of the Krasnoyarsk territory. The structure of economic entities of the timber processing industry in the region is considered. It is proposed to create an industrial cluster as a form of support for small and medium-sized businesses in the forest complex of the Krasnoyarsk territory. It is concluded that enterprises included in the industrial cluster must meet a certain minimum level of technological development that allows them to interact with each other. To determine this level of technological development, it is proposed to conduct a technological audit among enterprises included in the industrial cluster. A certain procedure for conducting technological audit at enterprises of the forest complex is proposed. As the main components of the technological audit, three levels of readiness of the enterprise were identified, including the levels of market, production and technological readiness. In each level of readiness, factors that affect this level of readiness were identified. Based on the analysis of readiness levels, an indicator was proposed that provides a General assessment of the level of technological development of the enterprise. This indicator was selected as a rank integral indicator of the level of technological development of the enterprise. To make a management decision on the inclusion of an enterprise in an industrial cluster, it was proposed to compare the rank integral indicator of the level of technological development of the enterprise with the reference indicator for industrial cluster enterprises.
