GR technologies in the work of educational and scientific organizations

Most publications on GR-communications concern the organization of interaction between business structures and government authorities. However, there are other practices. GR technologies are used by public associations, volunteer organizations, government companies, trade unions. The article highlights the main aspects of the work of GR-communication specialists in the field of education and science. The peculiarity is the alignment of relations not along the traditional line of “business - government”, but within one branch of public administration between the founder and subordinate organizations. The author assumes that the provision of effective communication allows the representatives of universities, research institutions to achieve their goals, but also the authorities to correct the point of view, to optimize the decisions taken, to hear the feedback. Furthermore, in their work, educational and scientific institutions interact not only with the founder, but also with other federal agencies, regional and local authorities. For the implementation of GR-communication a traditional set of PR-technolo-gies used to promote ideas, as well as some specific techniques. The practice of applying GR in Russia also has a number of peculiarities (from the role of personal ties to specific techniques for building a dialogue with executives).
