The paper treats the subject of developing procedures for training cosmonauts to carry out scientific research onboard manned space complexes designed for missions beyond the low-Earth orbit. The paper proposes a simulation model that makes it possible to evaluate the quality of cosmonaut training involving the use of the proposed procedures, thus enabling selection of those procedures, which are most suitable for supporting manned missions. It presents a method for analyzing the efficiency of the proposed procedures, implementation of which should result, in its turn, in a higher effectiveness of manned space missions.
