Socio-cultural design technologies as an effective means of updating folklore

The article deals with the technologies of socio cultural design as aneffective means of updating folklore. The topic of updating cultural heritage is of great interest both in the folklore world and in the whole scientific space. Expansion of the range of technological apparatus, the emergence of modern methods and tools used in socio cultural practices, allowing to achieve the planned results, rationalize and minimize of resource led to the formation of new ways of updating folklore, one of which is socio cultural design. The practical application of this technology in the preservation, actualization and popularization of folklore demonstrates positive results in the form of successfully implemented ethnocultural projects that are successful with the audience, which allows us to draw the attention of the general public to our cultural heritage, contributes to the formation of new forms of its transmission and representation, directly affects the process of establishing intercultural dialogue.
