Innovative activity of the territory is part of the image, which determines the priority for the development of the territory, increasing its competitiveness and improve living conditions for the people on it. This article analyzes the features of the areas of marketing with an innovative development on the example of the Tomsk Oblast Administration. Purpose - to develop recommendations for improving the marketing of technology in Tomsk Oblast. In this paper, the theoretical aspects concerning the marketing of innovative territories are highlighted, the features of marketing of innovative territories in the activities of the Tomsk Region Administration are considered, and special recommendations are developed that will enhance the effectiveness of the implementation of the territory marketing concept in the Tomsk Region.
