This article reviews modern virtual reality technologies and their feasibility in rehabilitation. The definition of virtual reality is discussed in details and some approaches in the systematization and classification are offered. The efficacy of virtual reality is discussed for motor, cognitive and emotional recovery and suggestions for further development are made.
