The discussion of the existent inclined and horizontal well drilling methods and their practical application in construction in Russia, as well as the review of the positioning systems widely used in trenchless underground services installation are followed with proposition of an innovative method for underground passages construction at higher engineering performance level and a intelligence-and-gage system design intended to locate an underground impact machine on-stream.
