Technology of organization of business search in the issues of regional innovative development

In modern conditions, innovation is a key factor in the competitiveness of a territory. How the innovation sphere is developed in the region determines its place in the global value chain. It was determined that the presence of a clear potential and financial capabilities is not always a key factor in the success of a territory. Each region has its own specifics and has a so-called “hidden potential”, which is important to identify and use in a timely manner. Determining the future comparative advantages of the territory is an important and difficult task, which can be solved only by combining the efforts and capabilities of all participants in the innovation process. The purpose of the article is to present a comprehensive technology for organizing an entrepreneurial search for regional innovative development, taking into account domestic specifics and European experience. The authors have developed a system of filters to assess the areas of priority development of the region in the process of entrepreneurial search. A regional foresight is proposed as a tool for selecting and justifying regional priorities.
