Production technology of double-wide jacquard fabric on shuttle loom

The aim of the paper is to design a double - wide jacquard fabric structure and the technology of its manufacture on a modern weaving six shuttle machine Mageba (Germany). The fabric pattern is designed on the basis of stylized ornamental motifs of historic Slutsk belts. The fabric structure is two - weft tapestry. The silk scarf is double - sided and two - faced. The resulting fabric has a width twice the width of the Slutsk belt and the width of the loom. This allows us to diversify the range of textiles produced on the unique equipment at the manufacture «Slutsk Belts».
