The article analyzes the technologies for creating a new banking product. The scheme of creating a new banking product has been substantiated. The strategies of banks’ behavior when introducing a new banking product to the market are considered. Brief characteristics of each of the strategies are described. The analysis of the existing methods of development and implementation of banking products in three large Russian banks is carried out. The main problem areas were identified that impede the rapid and high-quality development of new banking products, as well as their timely introduction to the market, taking into account customer satisfaction. For each problem area, ways of its solution are proposed, taking into account the practice of Russian banks and world banking experience.
