Technology of growing tomatoes by hydroponic method in protected areas

Under hydroponic conditions, the longest stems and multi-branched tomato seedlings were observed in experiments where hydroponic materials were wrapped with a film of perlite fibers and sawdust + manure, in which the stem length was 634-624 cm, the number of bundles was 12.5-12.0. The average number of daily irrigations of tomatoes grown under hydroponics conditions per season is 4-7 times, the seasonal irrigation rate is 3829m3/ha. The average daily water consumption for each plant should not exceed 0.350-0.425 liters. During the experiment, it was found that the rapid growth and development of tomatoes during the last ten days of December, as well as in January and February, is slower than in the season - September-November and March-May.
