Text- and meaning-forming potential of quantifier determinants in different parts of the Russian and English guidebook

This paper examines different definitions of text and meaning. With the formation of anthropocentric paradigm the focus of linguistic analysis is the human being and its existence in culture. I.e. linguistic personality in all its diversity: “I-physical”, “I-social”, “I-intellectual”, “I-emotional”, “I-reas-oning” is reflected in the literary text as a product of human activity. The paper also examines the sense-and text-forming potential of the 4 groups of quantifier determinants (Russian and English) in each of the parts of the tourist guide (Russian and English).
