The article substantiates the need for constant revision of forecasts in the oil and gas industry, as well as the search for new ways to quickly make managerial decisions on the transformation offuel and energy balances depending on external and internal factors. The key factor in today's dynamic environment is the transformation of the main flows and processes in order to develop the most effective approach at the national level. In this regard, this article discusses the influence of geopolitical factors on the fuel and energy balance of countries, as well as its transformation in order to form the most energy-efficient approach at minimal cost. As the main approach to the study of this problem, a systematic and comparative analysis was chosen, various approaches were considered for the countries fuel and energy complexes development in each of the areas, including the oil and gas sector, renewable energy sources, nuclear energy, etc. The article proves that often the country's economy is directly dependent on the oil and gas sector, and the growth of the economy and the vector of development is directly related to the infrastructure base, the degree of technology development and the amount offunds. The article materials are ofpractical value for the countries fuel and energy complex for improving the control, planning and coordination systems. The results of the article can be applied by the fuel and energy companies in the process of developing strategies for their further development.
