Thematic groups of military vocabulary in A.T. Tvardovsky's poem "Vasily Terkin"

The article analyzes the thematic groups of military vocabulary, which are presented in the text of A. T. Tvardovsky's poem "Vasily Terkin". The diversity of groups was pointed, the high frequency of lexical units included in them due to the theme of the poem, the use of terms in the colloquial speech of the characters, as well as the transition of neutral words into the group of military vocabulary, are noted.
