Trends of digitalization and servicization of economy

The article examines such a new trend in the development of modern economics as its digitalization. The main properties and stages of transition to the digital economy are highlighted. Its connection with the trend observed since the mid-twentieth century, which consists in increasing the share of the service sector in the structure of GDP (servicization), is also considered.
