The article presents the analysis of the main trends in the indicators of investment and innovative development of the region, the assessment of infrastructure support of innovative development. The main problems related to the insufficient level of investment activity and financing of innovations are highlighted. On the basis of the analysis it is determined that the development of high technologies, improving the quality of human resources, stimulating investment activity are priority areas of investment and innovative development of the region.
