Trends and prospects of the textile industry development in the depressed region (Ivanovo region)

The article examines the trends in the development of the depressed region's industry, caused by structural changes in the city-forming industry - the textile industry. The formation of the textile and industrial cluster is a mechanism for increasing the efficiency of using the industrial, scientific, educational potential of the Ivanovo region and one of the priority directions for increasing the competitiveness of the regional economy.
