Trends in the use of software in BIM design: analysis of the labor market

The article examines trends in the use of software in BIM design based on the analysis of job vacancies for BIM specialists in Russia. The study identifies the most demanded software solutions, the ratio of domestic and foreign products, as well as regional differences in employers’ requirements. The methodological basis of the research is a quantitative content analysis of vacancies posted on the hh.ru platform in the largest Russian cities, which made it possible to compare salary levels and the structure of digital competence requirements. The results show that Autodesk Revit remains the dominant tool in the market, while the share of domestic software products is still low. The novelty of the study lies in the use of recruiting platform data to identify current trends in the digitalization of the construction industry. The practical significance consists in the possibility of applying the results to improve educational programs, personnel policies, and import substitution strategies in the construction sector.
