Trends in the development of state financial support for investment activities in the Russian Federation

The article considers and analyzes the current state of investment activity in the Russian Federation. The main legal framework regulating the rules of conduct in the subjects of investment relations was given. The priority role of development institutions, such as the Russian Venture Company and VEB.RF, was identified of the Russian Federation, in promoting the effective functioning of investment activities in the Russian Federation. In addition, special attention was paid to project financing as the main way to stimulate innovation and investment activity in the state. It also have been analyzed some of the results achieved through the implementation of the Federal Targeted Investment Program, highlighted the main problems of its normal functioning, and presented a set of practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of budget funds through this Program.
