Tendencies of development of economic cooperation within BRICS

The article highlights a set of conceptual properties of BRICS Union. The current state and forecast values of economic development of BRICS countries are analyzed. It is revealed that the BRICS weight in the world economy is determined by the economic weight and potential of its members, first of all, China. The features and prospects of the Russian Federation''s participation in BRICS activities are studied.
