Development trends of Russian railways: strategic aspect

The article reviewed the development strategy of the Russian Railways holding for the period up to 2030. Current trends in the development of the Russian and world economies pose to the holding new tasks, the solution of which should both make a positive contribution to accelerating the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation and ensure the sustainable development of the Holding, increasing its global competitiveness and increasing the business value. In this regard, the formation of a long-term development strategy for the Russian Railways Group is an urgent task.
