World's energy sector development trends: alternative research approach

Based on the concepts of the global energy balance, this article is aimed at developing a universal methodological approach to the research of the world's energy industry development trends. The view applied is that of increasing energy stability among the international energy cooperation member countries and improving global energy efficiency by way of shifting towards natural gas resources.
