Trends in the development of student research activities: online promotion

The article deals with general issues of the Russian education system as a multi-stage integrated complex and the role of students ' research activities in it. The role of the Russian Academy of Sciences as the country's highest scientific institution is touched upon. The article reveals the fundamental importance of student scientific conferences as the most important form of involving creative youth in scientific life. Among the promising trends, student conferences are held in an online format.
